Cross-Country Skiing

Tyrol's cross-country skiing Eldorado

If there has ever been a truly outstanding paradise for cross-country skiers, then it is certainly the Kitzbühel Alps with their 250 km of cross-country ski trails. There is so much to choose from! The Koasalauf, which takes place every year, highlights the tradition and popularity of the sport of cross-country skiing. At this open cross-country skiing event, more than 2,000 athletes participate in this race with a 50 km route.

Cross-country skiing right at the hotel

Would you like to start on a cross-country trail right from our hotel? This is no problem, because the Griesenauer Loipe begins right outside our door! This 10 km long route leads into the Kaiserbachtal, and the trail profile is pleasant without steep climbs. Along the way, there is a short loop through the forest which leads along the same path back to Hotel Gut Kramerhof.

Ambitious cross-country skiers will appreciate the Gasteig high-altitude trail that leads from Kirchdorf to our hotel and continues to the Bacheralm toboggan run. This 7 km route leads up 300 vertical meters, so physical fitness is definitely needed!

Unlimited possibilities

The Kirchdorf Sonnenloipe, the Kaiserbachtalloipe, and the Hinterkaiser-Höflinger-Loipe: cross-country skiers will find themselves in a wonderland here that appears to have no limits.  Even if you choose a new trail every day, the region still offers even more routes. Have fun on your cross-country trail!
